Daniel and Sophia Zhou present a song recital in two parts. The first, a kaleidoscopic celebration of the great German and French traditions, includes selections by Schubert, Schumann, Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn, Fauré, Duparc, and others; the second, a whimsical romp through the landscape of American song, begins with lesser-known gems by Virgil Thomson and Christopher Berg and finishes with a dose of razzle-dazzle courtesy of the American musical theatre.
