Journey Into The Bhagavad Gita
The Bhagavad Gita is one of the most well-known and beloved Indian texts and takes place during a life-changing conversation between Sri Krishna and Arjuna before a battle unfolds. Learning and discussion workshop with Chris McClosky.
Svadhyaya is a Sanskrit word that means “self-study” and is an essential observance along our yogic path. Reading inspirational books is one way to reflect on thoughts and emotions and explore personal habits. Svadhyaya helps us embrace the process of self-inquiry with openness and curiosity. Have you always wanted to read the Bhagavad Gita but never had the time? Or read it previously and would like to dive in again and discuss it with others? If so, this weekend is for you! The Bhagavad Gita is one of the most well-known and beloved Indian texts and takes place during a life-changing conversation between Sri Krishna and Arjuna before a battle unfolds. “The battlefield is a perfect backdrop, but the Gita’s subject is the war within, the struggle for self-mastery that every human must wage” to live a life that is meaningful, fulfilling and worthwhile. Join Chris McCloskey, RYT 500 teacher, and Jen Randle, RYT 500 teacher and director, for this very special weekend of learning.
